OVERVIEW

Oysterworld was an innovative, independent games developer, focused on creating HOPA games as well as the lead game, Pooka: Magic and Mischief. Pooka: Magic and Mischief was set in a 3D world in which players could create their own Pooka, blending elements from virtual pet, role playing games, and collect-’em-ups. The game was originally targeted at those aged 7 and over.

In addition, the Company also focused on creating HOPA games, using literary works to create brand recognition such as The Great Gatsby and Dr Who.

The Company were involved in the development of Univiricity a unique multi-player game which aided language learning. In conjunction with HeatCity LLC, Oysterworld created a prototype game to demonstrate the capability of unique elements.

Oysterworld had begun development of a unique HOPA technology that has been used in the development of games such as Frankenstein. We understand that this was used in order to handle data more quickly as well as to expedite the cycle time.

This opportunity is likely to be of interest to those operating in areas including, but not limited to game development, software and children’s apps.
