Our CEO, Stephen Robertson, was invited to speak at an event hosted by Association of the Luxembourg fund industry (ALFI)
Stephen discusses the growing recognition of intellectual property (IP) as a valuable asset class in the investment world.
As demand for IP-focused investments grows, particularly in the US, regulations are evolving to require more careful evaluation of these assets. This shift is expected to drive the emergence of IP-focused credit funds, especially in Europe, following the lead of US regulatory trends.
“Advising private credit, PE and lenders alike has been in our DNA for twenty years and we understand this emerging asset class better than most. We have the experience, benchmarks, data and downside valuation insights to help credit providers minimize risk, get to grips with IP as collateral and meet their regulatory requirements and we are excited about what’s emerging in this asset class.”
“Anyway it was great event and thanks to the organisers, sponsors and other panellists. As I’ve said many times before, an IP Asset Class is emerging from the shadows to unlock capital for growth companies and mature businesses alike, by leveraging the value of their intangibles or IP assets such as brands, patents, software, trade secrets and know-how.“
