Highlight of this IP Sale
Our IP diligence identified that there was not a clear-cut bundle of IP rights ready for sale. The e-commerce website and customer database were shared by another of the Company’s retail brands, Jones The Bootmaker and we had to help in both separating the IP and building buyer confidence that they would be able to gain clear ownership rights over Brantano’s IP. Further complexities arose from the Company’s reputation having been tarnished from two previous Administrations. Our IP expertise enabled us to support buyer diligence and we completed a successful IP sale, and the business has been relaunched online.
