IP Advisory Analyst (Up to £24,000 DOE)

Role outline:

Working in support of the IP Advisory Manager, you will assist in delivering IP Advisory assignments including IP audits and commercial IP due diligence exercises as well as the delivery of IP strategy advice. This is an opportunity for the successful candidate to progress their career within a dynamic firm, operating in a niche and exciting market. Although beneficial, no previous knowledge or experience of IP is required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drafting client proposals and reports
  • Conducting relevant corporate and market research
  • Performing relevant searches of IP databases
  • Identifying and analysing critical IP assets within a business
  • Gathering relevant information from clients
  • Supporting the IP Advisory Manager in providing strategic commercial IP advice to clients
  • Actively contributing to marketing initiatives

Other responsibilities on an ad hoc basis include:

  • Client engagement and hospitality
  • Records management and document filing
  • Maintaining client communication when required
  • Attending valuation/marketing events when required

Academic attributes desirable:

  • Evidence of strong academic achievement preferably in a relevant degree such as Business, English, History, Law, Journalism, Finance & Economics
  • Although beneficial, no previous knowledge or experience of IP is required
