Meet our fantastic IP analyst, Morven Fraser. As part of the Corporate Recovery team, Morven specialises in assisting clients with the sale and valuation of intellectual property assets in distressed and insolvent scenarios. Since working at Metis Partners, she has worked on a wide range of cases identifying and assessing IP assets, with most experience in energy, software and retail. Morven holds both an undergraduate degree in French, as well as a doctorate in French literature from the University of St Andrews.
How did you first learn about Metis Partners?
I was researching intellectual property consultancies and came across Metis Partners.
What is your role at Metis Partners?
I work in the Corporate Recovery Team as an Analyst.
What’s your favourite aspect of your job?
When I successfully sell IP assets for insolvency practitioners or companies, ensuring that returns are maximised to creditors.

Before working at Metis Partners what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I worked as a baker for a social community café, which was really interesting but put me off sugar for a while….
Do you have any “hidden talents”?
I can play the baritone saxophone, although it’s almost as big as me!
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A character in a book or an astronaut.
What are we most likely to find you doing on Saturdays?
Drinking coffee & eating too much.
